Creativity in Counselling

Creativity in Counselling

25 February 2018
10.00 am - 4.00 pm

Facilitated by Kirsteen Greenholm

The capacity to bring playfulness into working therapeutically with adults can support deep growth/learning and important mutual experiences of pleasure, surprise and satisfaction. Yet this is an area of work where many counsellors/therapists feel anxious, limited and inhibited, and long for more creative range.

In this mainly experiential workshop, we will explore our personal histories around play, experiment with working creatively with a range of materials, and develop supports for extending our creativity in working with clients. We will work in a way which allows participants to grade their learning experience so that it is both safe and challenging enough.

You are welcome whatever your capacity to play and whatever your experience as a counsellor/therapist.

‘You can learn more about a person in an hour or play than in a year of conversation.’ Plato
