Daytime Counselling

Request Daytime Counselling

Before you fill in our Request Form, please read the information under ‘Helping You for an outline of how the PF Counselling Service works.

Unfortunately, the PF cannot offer specific therapies, specialist treatments, or therapy in a specific modality or approach. Most of our counsellors are not trained in specialist methods and so are unable to work with:

  • Complex or multiple mental health diagnoses
  • Severe or complex trauma
  • Complex personality disorders
  • Severe eating disorders

To arrange an initial session we need you to complete the Request From. All information you supply will be treated in strict confidence, as detailed in our Privacy Policy, but for us to be able to offer you counselling you need to consent to us holding and processing your data.

The PF offers a face-to-face (in-person) counselling service. However, we may offer some remote sessions when this proves necessary (video or telephone). It is therefore important that you read our Guide to Remote Sessions, and consider which would be possible for you.

No Evening Appointments Available

Please note that unfortunately we are not accepting requests for evening appointments at the moment. Despite closing our waiting list for some time, we still have quite a few people waiting for the limited number of evening appointments we are able to offer.

If you are only available for regular counselling after 6.00pm, we cannot accept a request or add you to our waiting list at this time. Please come back later, or follow our Twitter or Facebook pages to receive notification of when we will be accepting evening appointment requests.
